Festival of Fools 26-28 May 2019

Festival of Fools 26-28 May 2019

Come along and soak up the carnival atmosphere at the Festival of Fools, held on the Castle front lawn with something for all the family.

The festival incorporates with the International Jesters Tournament, when we appoint the new Fool of Muncaster for 2019. Muncaster is the only historic property which still appoints an official Fool, as far as we know; the current incumbent is Frumpid Stumplestone

Fool of Muncaster

2019’s Fool of Muncaster contenders are still to be announced but include slapstick artists, jugglers, comedians, magicians… Fancy being Fool of Muncaster? Why not apply to take part?
