‘Help A Hoodie’ Vulture Experience

‘Help A Hoodie’ Vulture Experience

Come along for a personal interview with a Hooded Vulture!

Available most days to a select few (a maximum of four participants);

  • meet one of our characterful vultures (and Betty the fibreglass sheep!)
  • observe vulture feeding habits up-close
  • find out from the falconers about the crucial role vultures have in the ecosystem and
  • have a vulture fly to your fist for a photo opportunity.

Spectators (family and friends of participants ONLY ) are welcome to watch the experience  from the display arena seating area (no extra charge).

This experience must be prebooked, is available most days at 3.15pm (subject to availability) and lasts around 20 minutes, with receipts in support of worldwide vulture conservation. Participants should meet at the Owl Garden Tearoom at the entrance to the Centre.
