Rooms for Hire

We have a selection of rooms available from a small meeting in the Bluebell Room (up to 8 delegates) to the Old Laundry for up to 100.

Within the Castle, a variety of rooms can be used:

For small intimate dining experiences or board meetings for up to 30, the Dining Room with its leather and gold wall paper and grand silverware and large oak table is ideal.

For up to 46 people, the Family Dining Room, re-decorated in 1885, with its fantastic wooden panels and Italian plaster lantern, gives a warm glow and feeling of luxury to your evening or meeting.

For larger events of up to 100, the Drawing Room with the Italian plastered barrelled ceiling set against centuries of family portraits.

If you are planning a larger event, for up to 200, our lined and heated marquee, set in the Gardens with the views to the Lake District mountains, is for you.
