Friends of the Gardens

If you've a few hours to spare a month and enjoy gardening, why not become a 'Friend of the Gardens'. It'll cost you nothing more than a few hours of your time but the rewards will last for years. Helping out with a spot of weeding, pruning or even more ambitious projects like the list below, everyone can help.

 Work can include helping in the following areas of the Gardens

  • The Sundial Garden
  • Secret Garden
  • Support Vegetable Garden
  • Development of ornamental garden within the walled garden
  • Clear dragonfly pond
  • Support pathway maintenance
  • Summer flowering beds at Main Gate Entrance
  • Clear and help maintain Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh Conservation Site’
