Visiting with Schools

Muncaster offers extensive learning opportunities for children of all ages. With a historic Castle situated in many acres of woodland, 'Himalayan' gardens and the World Owl Centre the opportunities for pupils to study a variety of subjects in a stimulating environment are endless.  Just the grounds alone provide a great opportunity for doing a bit of Nature Detecting.

Although we offer specialist support from members of staff, we realise that you may want to use the facilities independently which we are also happy to accommodate.

Whilst visiting us there is the option to use the education room or the old laundry as a base to work in, leave your bags or have lunch here in the event of bad weather.

We try to tailor your visit to your own schools needs so that you can take advantage of all the learning opportunities available here at Muncaster.
