Festival of Fools
25th - 29th May
It’s the most foolish event of its kind, the annual Festival of Fools promises five days of madness and mayhem. Performers from all over the world entertain the crowds each day with crazy antics including comedy, acrobats, and magic sometimes at the same time. The climax of the festival is the International Jesters Tournament on the 29th May, when a host of hopeful fools compete to become the next Fool of Muncaster. Sponsored by Cumberland Ale.
