MEMBERSHIP CARD – Automatic annual renewal using a Continuous Payment Authority which is setup on your credit card.
Repeat payments on your card
If you chose to use your credit or debit card to automatically renew your membership in 12 months time; this is called a continuous payment authority (CPA), also known as recurring transactions or instalment payments. CPAs differs from Direct debit as it uses your credit or debit card details rather than your bank details. By agreeing to a CPA you have entered into a contract with MVM Ltd, which has minimum 12 month duration.
A CPA gives a mandate to take a one off payment from your account annually to automatically extend your membership for a further 12 months, without seeking authorisation from you again.
The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 set out how retailers should act in setting up a CPA and during the course of a CPA.
You will receive a renewal letter 1 month before your card is due to expire,
If your card expires during the course of your CPA and does not automatically update; you will receive a notification to update your details.
