Located in the stable yard in what was the coach house for the Castle, today the Carriage House is our main gift shop. Open in the main season from 11am, it offers a wide variety of carefully selected giftware and branded Muncaster merchandise to suit all ages and all occasions. Whether you’re looking for a souvenir of your visit, a present for a special occasion, books or toys to occupy the children or something to take back for the lady looking after the cat, you’ll find it in the Carriage House.

At the entrance to the Hawk and Owl Centre, the The Bird Box Gift Shop concentrates on bird- and wildlife-themed merchandise as well as books, maps and cards. It often has different stock to the Carriage House so worth a browse round on your way into the Centre. You can also adopt one of the birds in our collection here plus book a raptor encounter (subject to availability).
