How to Book a Weapons Pass

Entry into the Muncaster Gardens and Hawk & Owl Centre is included when you book your first Weapons Pass Activity. Subsequent activities are £10 each.

Every person including spectators must have a ticket that allows at least Garden entry to Muncaster – this can be a Muncaster General Admission, Weapons Hall Activity Pass or Weapons Hall Spectator Ticket.

If you have already booked a Muncaster General Admission ticket you will be able to upgrade to activities for £10 each here.
Please note these tickets will only be valid with a Muncaster General Admissions ticket or Friend of Muncaster Membership.

You will need to book a specific date and time slot for your activity and specify the number of participants for each activity.

Late Arrivals: If you are late for your session you will not be able to join the activity, as you will have missed the important safety briefing. We will use our best endeavours to get you booked onto a later session or an alternative activity, but are unable to offer refunds for late arrivals.

Supervisors: Anyone under the age of 16yrs coming to participate at The Weapons Hall must be accompanied by an adult supervisor over the age of 18yrs. This person does not have to participate but must have a valid ticket (Weapons Hall Spectator or Muncaster Garden Entry) and must remain with the participant at all times.

Children under 8yrs: Children under 8yrs old are not permitted in The Weapons Hall for safety reasons, therefore please ensure alternative care arrangements are made for younger siblings etc whilst you are in The Weapons Hall.

Dogs: Dogs are not permitted in The Weapons Hall for safety reasons, therefore please ensure alternative care arrangements are made for dogs whilst you are in The Weapons Hall.  You will not be allowed to tie a dog up outside unattended.

Cancellations: We are sorry but we will not be able to offer any cancellation refunds within 7 days of your booked date and time.

Parking: Parking is free at Muncaster but please note the car park is about 15 minutes walk from The Weapons Hall.

Equipment: Although all of the firing/shooting/throwing activities require the same skills as learnt by medieval Knights, you will be using modern day equivalent weapons for both safety reasons and ease of use. Traditional weapon replicas will be available to look at but not to shoot/fire/throw.

Suitability: We reserve the right to ask customers to leave the Weapons Hall at anytime if we feel their behaviour is not appropriate or unsafe. Muncaster staff’s opinion and decision will be final for the safety and wellbeing of all.
